Hearing a diversion

The bashing of the baseball steroid affair by the U.S. Congress with zeal, courage and cameras is an abomination.

Especially when the U.S. Congress demonstrated institutional torpor, lassitude, lack of courage (with the exception of 13 senators) and character to hold the Bush administration and cronies responsible and accountable for the nefarious, deceitful and illegal activities of the past four years.

It appears that the baseball steroid affair is the “strawman” everyone can beat up on to continue to deceive and fool the American public.

The joke (unfunny) is on us. Anyone listening or laughing?! “Take me out to the ball game” and forget the Iraq war, establishing “democracy” at gun point, prisoner detainee torture and “extraordinary rendition” and “take me out to the ball game.”
