Healthy hearts workshop set

February is National Heart Month, and Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital is celebrating with a seminar on “Healthy Hearts” from noon to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in its Outpatient Conference Area. There is a fee of $5 per person and registration is limited to 75 people.

Registered Nurse Robin Wright Maller will discuss risk factors, including cholesterol; Michelle Harris, a nutritional therapist, will focus on heart-healthy diets; and trainer Geri Campbell will cover exercise.

If possible, participants are asked to bring along a copy of their most recent blood test for cholesterol.

The seminar is co-sponsored by the hospital’s Wellness Center and Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. To register, call 274-6824.
