Health Care’s rosy view

Don’t fear, Mary Raymond (Other Voices, March 9). All you need to do is put on the rose-colored glasses worn by hospital administrators and the health-care crisis magically disappears. Recently, I too was worried about the health-care crisis. But then, I was so enlightened when I read an article in February explaining how easily the hospital was able to recruit new doctors to the area because Nevada County is so beautiful. This so-called “green effect” is really a rose-colored glasses effect.

Now, I can just ignore the fact that more primary doctors will be leaving this year. Now, I can just ignore the fact that I receive numerous calls each day from those seeking primary physicians. Boy, these rose-colored glasses really are comforting. I suggest you pick-up yours today.
