Health care on death row puzzling

No wonder I got a “C” in Logic 101; the following confuses me mightily:



According to a recent news item, prisoners have a “constitutional right” to health care, including organ transplants. In the event a prisoner on death row, who is next in line for a heart transplant, is successful in getting one, are we trying to insure he lives long enough so we can kill him?
