Growth is inevitable in Nevada County

Growth is inevitable in Nevada County, but the kind of responsible growth District 3 Supervisor Bruce Conklin supports does not destroy the beauty and special atmosphere of our area.

Bruce works hard to preserve the rich heritage of this area. He founded the Nevada County Historic Buildings Alliance and spearheaded the campaign for repairs for St. Joseph’s Cultural Center and Miners Foundry. He is working to save the North Star House, the Nevada Theatre and historic canals. He tries to find ways in which new development fits into our cultural environment rather than supplanting it. We need to re-elect him.
