Grateful for local citizens’ support

Thank you Nevada County/Grass Valley for your wonderful help starting at 8:30 a.m. on Valentine’s Day. I was rear-ended, flew, clipping an oncoming car, and overturned on 174 by Bear River Pines. Mistakes and accidents happen. There are no hard feelings.

From the bottom of my heart, thank-you to the young lady who rear-ended me and kind witness “Red” for trying to help me.

The fire department and highway patrol did a great job. Fischer’s Towing was good, patient and kind. The doctor and staff at Memorial Hospital and Urgent Care gave compassionate and very good care. AAA was quick and efficient (thanks Bill and Jim). They sent me to Hertz and I had a car rental by about 2 p.m. (thanks, Tracy.) By 3 p.m., I’m home soaking in the tub.

Grass Valley is a great place to live.

Thanks, John Seelmeyer, for your warm concern and for printing this.
