Goofy left?

This last week two letters were published in The Union from writers in Penn Valley with same last names fixated on Sen. Ted Kennedy’s Chappaquiddick debacle. The first reminded us that Kennedy’s car killed more people than Cheney’s shotgun … how many people were killed because of Cheney’s lies about Iraq?

The second mentioned Kennedy’s slow response to his disaster. How long did it take this Pinocchio presidency to respond to the disaster and stench of the bodies from Katrina in New Orleans?

Cheney’s approval ratings are a few notches above Bin Laden’s. Are his “values” those of local voters who support him and the indicted/unindicted crooks and criminals linked to this administration? Ken Lay, Abramoff, “Scooter” Libby, “Duke” Cunningham, Mike Scanlon … the list grows. The noose tightens around Doolittle as the canaries sing. And this is not the “criminalization of politics.”

If some prominent Republican were accused of the same crime linked to entertainer Michael Jackson, how soon would someone from the rabid rancid right proclaim that pedophilia really isn’t all that bad?

Just asking.

I won’t even start on Abu Ghriab … or WMD.
