Give young people actual information

If we wish to protect our children and young adults, we need to provide them with information. It is true that “just say no” to sexual activity will prevent pregnancies, but is this rational? Are we sure that all our young people will get the message when many of their peers are pooh-poohing this message?

We all know about curiosity and raging hormones. Please, let’s provide these young people with actual information on how to prevent unwanted pregnancies (and sexually transmitted diseases) by giving them actual factual data. In a word, let us all support sex education in our schools.
