Give me a break

So now we’re hearing from the Italian lady journalist (who, incidentally, works for a communist newspaper) that she thinks the U.S. military fired on her vehicle “on purpose.”

Well, let’s see: No one bothered to alert coalition forces that an attempt was going to be made to free her from her captors. The vehicle her rescuers were driving was on the road after curfew. And, it was speeding in the direction of a U.S. checkpoint. Warning shots to halt were ignored.

And she claims she was fired upon on purpose? That probably was the case. There was nothing to indicate to our military her vehicle was anything other than one more suicide bomber bent on killing himself and as many others as possible. The lady’s charges are merely one more attempt to propagate socialist propaganda.
