Girl Scouts leaders

This year marks the 90th anniversary of Girl Scouting in the U.S.A. Our local community supports a strong and vibrant Girl Scout program that has been thriving here since the 1930s. April 22 is recognized as Leaders’ Day. The 624 girls of the Northern Mines Service unit salute the 204 leaders, co-leaders and assistant leaders that make Girl Scouting possible in western Nevada County. Happy Leader’s Day!
