George Rios will be missed by many

George will be missed by many. I’m writing in response to the death of a great and wonderful friend, George Rios. I met George in 1989 and have been friends ever since. When he played at the 5 Mile House on Friday and Saturday nights, he would always come stay with us. We lived by Scotts Flat Lake. So anyone who was unable to drive home would stay the night at our cabin or in George’s bus on our property. He was a loving and caring guy, and would always sing for us when he came to visit. My youngest son, Austin, gave him a beautiful electric guitar and, of course, he painted it black. But what many people didn’t know was that George’s favorite color was actually purple. Painting everything black was just part of his act. I’ve met his mother many times and she has even cooked for my family. George was and forever will be an awesome guy and he will be very dearly missed by me and my family.
