Four years of trouble

Four more years of what we should expect: unprecedented budget deficit, increased trade deficit; $125 billion a year with China alone. Outrageous defense (offense) spending. More deaths and seriously wounded American soldiers and innocent civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan or another country. More outsourced jobs abroad, therefore more unemployment. More working families falling under the poverty line. Increased number of people without health insurance, 44 million to date. No increase in minimum wage, but $5,000 yearly increased salary for Congress persons. Ratio of C.E.O. to worker pay 300-to-1. More tax reduction to the wealthiest Americans. Reduction funding for education and E.P.A. More environmental degradation. The disappearing middle class will be the first one to suffer from the privatization of Social Security and Medicare, meaning: increased premium and decreased benefits. As a good Christian, Bush will make abortion illegal, even if the mother’s life is at risk. However, it is OK to kill hundreds of pregnant women, (with cluster bombs) in Afghanistan and Iraq. And the disappearing middle class, Christian fundamentalists voted for him, go figure?
