Forget traffic lights, just use stop signs

Can someone please tell me how in the world the addition of more traffic lights are going to “improve traffic flow” in and around the Brunswick/Loma Rica area?

I feel the need to point out that when the traffic lights in the Brunswick Basin are down for one reason or another, the traffic moves just fine – in fact, better than when the lights are active.  Nearly everyone takes their proper turn, just as they do at a boulevard stop, and the line of traffic moves at a constant, reasonable pace.

I might also suggest that legalizing a right turn on a red light when accessing the Brunswick on-ramp to Nevada City would help move the traffic as well.

I say let’s remove all the traffic lights in favor of stop signs.  No bulbs to change and no more wasted county money.
