Flags should not be hung from overpasses

I agree with Caltrans’ flag policy.

Flags hung from highway overpasses are offensive violations of flag etiquette. It’s one thing to have small, badly frayed flags on car antennas, but it’s quite another to treat 30-foot flags with this kind of disrespect.

And you just know that some flag-hanging patriot is eventually going to kill somebody when he falls to the freeway below, and the state will get sued for millions of dollars.
