Fish giveaway targets West Nile Virus

The Nevada County West Nile Virus Task Force will give residents free mosquito fish for ponds from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The fish giveaway will be in Grass Valley at the Nevada County Resource Conservation District office at 113 Presley Way, Suite No. 1, across from the golf course.

Names and addresses will be taken to track the distribution of fish in the county. Fish will be given out in plastic bags and the number will depend on the size of the pond.

For more information, call the Nevada County Resource Conservation District at 272-3417.
