Fill in those cracks

Re: Feb. 23 article, “Grand jury blasts Nevada City’s filing system.”

I have had only positive dealings with Nevada City’s City Hall filing system. Cathy Wilcox-Barnes is a treasure of knowledge and seems to know where everything is.

My problem is with the floorboards in City Attorney Jim Anderson’s office. Several years ago a document written by a city official and valuable to my case was said “to have fallen through the cracks.” Never to have been recovered. Therefore I feel there is “much ado about something.”

These cracks need to be filled in.
