Favorable treatment

A recent letter writer complained that Ted Kennedy’s son was apparently given favorable treatment by police after being seen driving erratically. Well, let’s be fair about this and discuss the favorable treatment given to our current president in his past.

The public has never been told the whole truth about his past involvement with his cocaine abuse, arrest and sentencing. These were all covered up and the truth has never been fully revealed.

It appears that favorable treatment was given to young Bush also.

Is Congressman John Doolittle getting favorable treatment in his involvement with his wife making money from people giving money to his campaign, regardless of whether she actually was involved with soliciting the money? If such a situation occurred in a business, it would be called a kickback and anyone caught would be summarily fired. Is she getting favorable treatment because she is married to a powerful politician?

I hope you join with me in demanding that the whole truth be told, and that no favors be given to any politician regardless of party or position.
