Falsely accused

A writer on Jan. 25 falsely accused Congressman John Doolittle of accepting stolen money. The writer is possibly one of the hard-left Democrats who continually distort and outright lie about the congressman’s record. The hard lefters favor socialist ideas, and like many of their kind, believe that a lie repeated often enough will be believed. Congressman Doolittle is an honest man and has always performed his job as our representative with the highest ethical standards. If the congressman were guilty of the alleged crimes, why did he invite Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to examine his record and involvement with Jack Abramoff and then decide what course of action to take? It will take substantially more than innuendo and the wildest dreams of rabid liberals to impugn Mr. Doolittle’s character.
