‘Fairytale 9/11"’

Jeff Ackerman has certainly taken a lot of heat for commenting on Michael Moore’s “documentary” while admitting he hasn’t viewed it. While on the surface these criticisms appear somewhat justified, I must admit I, too, have not and will not pay to see it. Not because I’m afraid of being exposed to Mr. Moore’s view of the world, but because I choose not to be subjected to a tirade of misrepresentations, innuendoes and false information as has been already acknowledged by the many critics of Mr. Moore’s movie.

But what really alarms me is how so many people actually believe that this movie is an accurate representation of reality. It’s the same crowd that keep saying “Bush lied.” If Bush lied to us, then did all our senators lie to us when they unanimously passed the authorization to go to war with Iraq? They had the same intelligence.

No, nobody lied. We just reaped the results of an intelligence meltdown that was perpetrated on the American people by President Clinton and his fellow Democrats. They gutted our human intelligence, and it is our soldiers, not Michael Moore, paying the price. If anyone has lied to you, it’s Mr. Moore.
