Enos was a true leader

A leader doesn’t wait. A leader acts on the all too many and obvious needs. A leader doesn’t just ask questions, a leader has answers. A leader doesn’t watch society go to hell in a hand basket; a leader is there actively looking for the sags and then immediately shoring them up. A leader doesn’t even wait to get a thanks from the last event before he or she is on to the next. Steve Enos, a Grass Valley city councilman for four years, stepped up to the plate from day one in Grass Valley until just before he jumped into his pickup truck and drove to be with his honey in Buffalo, N.Y. A little late, but there are lots of folks in Grass Valley, Nevada City and all of Nevada County who want to say thanks, Steven, for being there when people needed you.
