ENGAGEMENT – Cook-Gruenefeldt

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald W. Cook of Nevada City announce the engagement of their daughter, Kellie Anne Cook, to Dr. Alan Gruenefeldt, son of Mrs. Barbara Gruenefeldt and the late Mr. Victor Gruenefeldt of Winston, Ore.

The future bride, a Nevada Union High School graduate, attended Northwestern University in Chicago, and received her bachlelor’s degree from the University of California-Santa Barbara. She received her J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in Nashville, Tenn., returning to California to practice civil law in Sacramento.

The future bridegroom, a Douglas High School graduate, received his B.S. degree from the University of Oregon at Eugene and his M.D. degree from OHSU School of Medicine in Portland. He completed his residency training in family medicine at the University of California-Davis. He practices in Auburn.

A May wedding is planned.
