Emperor has no clothes

Two simple and basic questions need to be asked about the Iraq invasion and occupation. So far we have spent $280 billion, lost 1,400 lives, had 10,000 injured (5,000 seriously maimed), killed at least 100,000 Iraqis (mostly civilians), left destroyed most of the basic Iraqi utility and security infrastructure, and seriously damaged our world alliances. We have created a laboratory and educational base for every radical Islamic terrorist in the Middle East. We have propped up a phony puppet “democracy” that will need our support forever. Now the questions: Are we any safer? Where is the cheap gas? Can somebody get the word to the Evangelicals that this Emperor hasn’t got any clothes?
