Elementary school holds benefit

Saturday’s “A Night to Remember” dinner dance/auction is a benefit for Gold Run Elementary, Nevada City Elementary, Deer Creek Elementary and Seven Hills Middle Schools.

Co-sponsored by the Parent Teacher Clubs of all four schools, Nevada City Schools Foundation and the 49er Breakfast Rotary Club, the fund-raiser features entertainment by Laura Patt and dance band Good2Go.

Live and silent auctions will feature donations from local businesses as well as items from students, including gift baskets, watercolor paintings, painted furniture and a newly refurbished bicycle from the Seven Hills bike shop students.

Admission is $35 per person. Reservations must be called in by Thursday to Pam LeDuc at 478-1825.

“A Night to Remember” begins at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Grass Valley Veterans Building, 255 S. Auburn St.
