Echoing anti-Semitism

Re “Touchy subject, this Israel situation,” Other Voices by Dick Tracy, June 4:

Since I do not know Mr. Tracy, I’ll take his comment that he’s not an anti-Semite at face value. The only problem with this conclusion is that virtually everything he said reflects the core beliefs espoused by every anti-Semitic site on the Internet – that the Israel lobby virtually owns our government and a large part of our media.

Worse still was his comment re 9/11, blaming U.S. support for Israel when every informed and thoughtful commentator recognizes that the attack on the World Trade Center was the result of radical Islam gone mad in a clash of cultures and values.

There’s not enough room to respond to his ignorant comments about the Holocaust except to say that at least the neo-Nazis are honest enough not to claim that “some of my best friends are Jewish.”
