Drug users aren’t terrorists

Was I the only one to catch it? Three of the ads during Super Bowl XXVI, put on by the hard-line anti-drug people of the Bush administration, tried to equate Sept. 11 terrorists with drug users. Wrong. Sept. 11 terrorists were religious fundamentalist fanatics not unlike Afghan Taliban and Palestinian Hamas. Is the aim to now blame homeland terrorism on druggies? That would be just more war on drugs, not war on terrorism. Drug users are not religious fanatics. Sept. 11 terrorists were.
