Doolittle no conservative

The State of Vermont has only one congressman, Bernie Sanders, and he openly admits he is a socialist. The registered independent scored 47 percent for the three conservative indexes published for the current Congress. One hundred and seventy-four Republicans – 76 percent of the GOP House contingent – scored less than 47 percent for the same index. Bernie Sanders had a better score for less government and lower taxes than 174 Republicans in Congress.

Congressman John Doolittle, our conservative Republican, voted to increase our taxes for the average household to the sum of $21,053 on just this one bill. This bill, H.R. 393, raised the national debt so our representatives could continue to spend more of our money to increase our taxes.

This bill passed by only three votes: Congressman John Doolittle, Wally Herger, and our third conservative congressman, Richard Pombo in the Stockton area.

Over half of the Democrats in Congress for the state of California have a better voting record for less government and less taxes than the above three congressman do on the same index, and the people still believe Doolittle is a conservative?
