Don’t force medical students to perform abortions

Why does our state Assembly, Senate and Gov. Gray Davis think that only women contemplating abortions have the “right to choose?” Assembly Bill 2194 has just been approved to force medical schools to have abortion training programs and to force students who are in the obstetrics-gynecology programs to participate. Medical institutions and students should be able to “choose” whether or not they are involved in abortions. Thankfully, there are “conscience” laws at the federal and state levels that will help protect pro-life people. What is happening to our freedoms?
