Donations sought for disease victim

The Coming Home Foundation is helping a woman in Nevada County suffering from Lyme Disease. Her insurance will not pay for her treatment, and $8,000 is needed before Dec. 20. She is seeking treatment from The Wellness Center in Reno, and is responding.

Donations and pennies can be delivered to 15171 South Ponderosa Way in Grass Valley from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

Santa will be there, and the foundation will provide a free cup of hot cocoa and a candy cane. Polaroid pictures can be purchased for $3.

To get there from Mill Street and McCourtney Road, drive 3.3 miles down McCourtney Road past the Nevada County Fairgrounds to South Ponderosa Way. Turn left and follow the signs to the second house on the left.
