Donations needed for ski trip

The Nevada County Association for Developmentally Disabled is holding its annual ski trip.

A group of Nevada County special education students and disabled adults will be going to Donner Ski Ranch from March 18 to 21. They are scheduled to participate in downhill skiing, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. Unscheduled events include tubing and the impromptu snowball fight.

NCADD anticipates 30 or more skiers going on this year’s trip. The association is looking for local clubs, businesses or individuals to help support the event. Donations are tax-deductible.

To make a donation, call Nancy Sturk at 273-4431, ext. 355.
