Do we want sprawl?

OK, now I’ve heard it all. Ms. Martin says that she doesn’t want to spend any more money on Natural Heritage 2020. She also states that she’s tired of the divisiveness that 2020 has (unnecessarily) created. The fact that Ms. Martin is a true fiscal conservative (her record on the BOS shows she’s pretty tight with taxpayer money) as well, doesn’t seem to satisfy any of the crazies, Bedwell, Clark et al. The fact is, nothing anyone in county or any other form of government will satisfy folks of their ilk. The only thing that will satisfy them is the complete destruction of the beauty in our county. I urge every voter in the county to get a copy of the Sunset book “Gold Cities.” Look at what used to be in the bygone days of the 1940s and 1950s, and then think about what’s transpired since. Where do we want to go from here? The intelligent choices are ours to make. Placer and Sacramento county’s urban sprawl, or Nevada County’s continuing good air, lovely vistas, trees and watercourses. Think, think, think, folks!!

P.S. Oh, and Calvin, get a shave. You beard is as scraggly as your thinking.
