Disturbed by protest

I find it rather disturbing politics to send children out on a mission that adults should find disgusting. To have youngsters protest a facility they can know nothing about, that will help people with problems they cannot understand, is deplorable. All this nonsense while untreated addicts and alcoholics are living amongst them.

What makes more sense, a place that stands a chance of helping people change their lives, or the folks having to make do on the streets?

In my experience as a drug and alcohol counselor, the purpose of such a facility is invisible to the eye. The patients in the facilities desire anonymity.
