Depressing meeting

I attended the recent town hall meeting with Congressman Doolittle. While Congressman Doolittle was polite, informative, and simply and directly laid out the problems facing Social Security, the boorish Grass Valley liberals shouted him down at every opportunity in a stunning and depressing display of ignorance. Their uniform response is that we should be taxing somebody else (especially someone they perceive to have $1 more than them) to pay for their benefits. How is it that those claiming to be the most tolerant and enlightened are in fact close-minded and selfish? It is becoming more obvious every day that the United States’ best days are behind it.
