Decent-sized retail stores can help

I totally agree with your editorial concerning the future use of Loma Rica. Our current supervisors will never approve low-cost housing or a decently sized retail establishment in our area.

Mr. Van Zant has responded to me that he will never allow a “large Box Store” in our county. He claims that it would hurt local business. I feel that it would only hurt the stores in Auburn and Roseville, where we shop now. It would also provide employment and taxes to the county.
