Cuts hurt elderly

I received a call from my 69-year-old mother who just retired last year. She was reading an article that explained that to reduce the country’s deficit that America’s seniors will have to start paying for their own oxygen and all related equipment that keeps them alive. I think this is an outrage. Prisoners on death row are kept alive and comfortable for 15-20 years or longer, and given the utmost consideration of a pleasant and least uncomfortable death. Wow. This can’t make sense to the people of this country. Can it? I am shocked to hear that our vice president signed this and was the the deciding vote. Please, if anyone else sees this as not being moral and a problem with this, please contact the appropriate people to I will provide a post office box if there is enough response to this issue.
