Critics of a phone prefix change are few

The Oct. 23 issue of The Union wrote on the phone prefix issue affecting those of us in Big Oak Valley. The article cited one proponent of the change and one critic. The article makes the statement that “not everybody is in favor of changing the phone service,” which, while factually correct, grossly understates the support in Big Oak Valley for the prefix change.

It is doubtful you can find a dozen critics of the change. On the other hand, I have no doubt you will get many letters from proponents of the change.

I’m sure The Union will be pleased to pay the long distance charges when you confirm all those letters.
