Critic of painting

A recent paint job by the owner of the building housing the very popular, locally operated cinemas is being universally recognized as hideous, grotesque, improper for Grass Valley, appropriate only for the slums of Tijuana, and other such descriptions.

There is no question about how bad the colors are. The only question now is how to get rid of this most recent Rosevilleization of our beautiful area.

I urge all who read this to go by the corner of Hughes Road and East Main and then contact the Grass Valley Planning Department and/or your city councilperson. Insist on action to undo this ugliness.
