Credit goes to Knecht

I was honored by the Feb. 26 election letter of support for me by Tom Yates. However, I want to clarify that although I was given credit for establishing the south county sheriff’s substation, it is former District 2 Supervisor Karen Knecht that deserves all the accolades for that achievement! Karen worked to make the substation a reality. The substation continues to provide a needed level of public safety service to south county citizens. Thank you, Karen!
