Court summary

A woman who was convicted of forgery last month was sentenced Monday.

Donna Nikkel, 53, of McCourtney Road, received a 180-day jail sentence and $815 in fines.

Nikkel was convicted of forgery on Dec. 11 in connection with a First USA credit card application, court records show. Nikkel is appealing her conviction.
