County supervisorial races

Drew Bedwell and Robin Sutherland are quite a pair.

Neither one is interested in we, the people of Nevada County, but only in their own futures.

Drew Bedwell is not your voice. He is the voice of the developers. Robin is a fast learner of the game of politics, but she should do more studying and find out what she is talking about before she speaks.

The two that I trust are Izzy Martin and Bruce Conklin.

They care about Nevada County.

Why is Drew Bedwell badmouthed? He stood up and questioned the existing political machine which routinely ignores us (except in election season), and they didn’t like it. They know people have seen Drew’s call for balance and representation as genuine and meritorious, and they’re trying to destroy him. He and Robin are both falsely called incompetent nuts. If incumbents are wonderful and Drew is horrible, why do the Deputy Sheriff’s Association, CDF Firefighters, Contractors’ Association and others, including hundreds of citizens, endorse Drew? It’s time the people had good representation on the board. Vote for Drew and Robin.

Arguments have been offered that Robin (Sutherland) is not qualified for supervisor because she is inexperienced. Yet, Elizabeth (Martin) fired my wife from the Sanitation Advisory Board because Elizabeth felt that the board needed a fresh approach to sanitation. So, she dismissed a person who is knowledgeable and has over 18 years of experience. Most people will agree that my wife is indeed an outspoken expert in this subject; but Elizabeth replaces her with an inexperienced person whose sole experience is confined to periodic daily trips to the bathroom. I’m sure that Robin would show better judgement in selecting advisors.

Of all the candidates for county supervisor in the District 4 race, Robin Sutherland is the one who will bring fresh ideas and candor to this office. Izzy Martin is a crafty politician who seems to have lost sight of those who put her in office four years ago; if re-elected, she will hammer out some new version of the flawed NH 2020 program. Rene Antonson’s goal seems to be to get back into office, to get even with those who threw him out when they wrote Izzy in. Let’s start fresh with Robin Sutherland as our new supervisor.

A vote for Drew Bedwell and a vote for Robin Sutherland insures NH 2020 will be dead and buried. Voting for their opponents will resurrect NH 2020. Hmmmmmm, I haven’t used my quota of 100 words.

Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin. Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin.

Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin. Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin.

Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin. Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin.

Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin. Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin.

Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin. Vote for Drew. Vote for Robin.

There, 100 words exactly.
