Council makes right call

As a parent and a Boulder Street resident, I am grateful to Conley Weaver, Kerry Arnett and the Nevada City City Council for their steadfast opposition to the proposed Deer Creek Park 2 subdivision. Boulder Street simply cannot handle the 1,500 additional vehicle trips per day that the project would generate. Boulder Street is already maxed out.

We are also very concerned about the degradation of water quality in Little Deer Creek, our city’s drinking water, from this project’s septic systems. If you too are concerned, please let our county supervisor, Nate Beason, know. Thank you.
