Conklin helped youth

I have had the pleasure of working with Supervisor Bruce Conklin on several community projects.

I would like to acknowledge his strong support for Nevada County’s youth and his willingness to work cooperatively with others. He led efforts which motivated the Board of Supervisors to contribute significant funds to the Grass Valley Skatepark. He was determined to find ways that Nevada County could assist with completion of the project, and his efforts made the difference in the skatepark opening last summer. I appreciate his hard work, commitment, and dedication to affairs which enhance our community.
