Conklin cares about families

On Aug. 13, Supervisor Bruce Conklin asked the Board of Supervisors to provide emergency loans to Nevada County Community Partners or other nonprofit organizations that receive federal funds from the Area 4 Agency on Aging.

The board voted 5-0 to release funds to several agencies, including Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center. Because of Bruce Conklin’s initiative and compassion, our doors and those of other nonprofits in Nevada County will remain open until the state begins to disperse allocated funds through the appropriate channels.

Thank you, Bruce, for caring for families who care.
