Community beware

I had my purse stolen from Deer Creek at the carnival during cleanup of the event. I find it so horrible that anyone can do such a thing and walk with his/her head up. Within the last month my son has had his backpack stolen, my husband has had his ladders stolen, and now my purse. Is there any where, we, as honest, law-abiding citizens, can feel safe from theft and criminal behavior? Any normal person would think “safe” at a school function. It is now time to evaluate how far the meaning of the word “safe” can actually go!
