The Coming Events column is limited to events sponsored by nonprofit agencies, groups or clubs. Items should be brief, typewritten when possible, and must include the name and telephone number of the person submitting them. Deadline is three working days before the desired publication date. American Sewing Guild

Early Risers Toastmasters

Food Bank Distribution

The Food Bank of Nevada County. Monthly distribution for Penn Valley and Rough and Ready area residents 11 a.m. to noon, Penn Valley Community Church, 11739 Spenceville Road. USDA Commodities will also be distributed at the site. New recipients may sign up for food at the distribution site. Call the Food Bank Warehouse for eligibility requirements 272-3796.

Annual birthday dinner and meeting, 6 p.m., 212 Spring St., Nevada City. District Deputy President Marge Jones will visit.

Sierra Travelers “Over the Hill Gang”
