Clueless in Nevada County

Unbelievable! All of you out there in God’s country (tweaker’s turf): Yes! Drew (Reynolds’) fate was a travesty of all things we hold near and dear to ourselves. The saddest of all is that each and everyone of us is indirectly responsible for this kind of injustice.

Why? Because we vote for the continuation of a drug rehab program that doesn’t work. We vote for political correctness in the courtrooms or we sue. We support the ACLU that does nothing more than undermine our authority to govern and punish as we see fit to the abusers of society. We always justify why a person goes bad instead of put them out of society where they can only harm themselves.

As we point fingers at what we think should be done, we need to seriously look at the three fingers pointing back at ourselves for the things we did not do. What is it that we didn’t do? We didn’t analyze and scrutinize the propositions that we voted for that produced the circumstances we live with today. We fell for the warm and fuzzy of it all, and now we pamper the perpetrator and punish the victim. What were we thinking?
