Civil liberties meeting Monday

Concerned citizens and activists will meet Monday, Feb. 10, at 7 p.m. at the Madelyn Helling County Library Community Room to discuss the plan for establishing a “Civil Liberties Safe Zone” in Nevada County. They will discuss the current status of their efforts and develop a strategy for passing “Bill of Rights Defense” resolutions at the local government levels to provide protection against increased threats to civil liberties that have come during the “War on Terror.”
