City lacks compassion

It is outrageous and mean-spirited. The City of Grass Valley is trying to shut down operation of the welcome center for Hospitality House. Am I mistaken, or is that snow on the ground? Where do you expect these folks to go? You do not care; you are able to go home to your nice, warm home every night and eat a hot meal, all the while not even giving these fellow human beings a second thought.

Instead of judging them, why not try to imagine being in their shoes? Instead of condemning them, why not attempt to understand? How would you feel if you had nowhere to go and no one wanted you around? You, who have the “authority” and the “power” to put an end to the best thing that has happened in this county in years, need to hang your heads and be terribly ashamed of yourselves. And John Q. Public, if you do nothing to help this cause, you are teaching your children that it is OK to look the other way and not help our fellow man … how dare you.
