City clerk’s compassion

At the May 8 Nevada City council meeting, we heard much testimony concerning Cathy Wilcox-Barnes love for the city. We heard from a man of God concerning her moral goodness.

My question: If this is the truth, why did she undeputize her deputy clerk of 10 years after she was requested to leave? Where is the love and concern of the city and its citizens with this cold-hearted lack of compassion for not allowing the wheels of government to continue until she returns?
