CHP hosts toy drive for kids

The California Highway Patrol is again hosting the ChiPs for Kids toy drive, which begins Monday and ends Dec. 18.

All collected toys will go to local deserving families. To help, bring a new, unwrapped toy to the CHP’s Grass Valley office at 11900 Sutton Way between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Gold Run Elementary School, Deer Creek Elementary School and Cottage Hill Elementary School are participating this year, so parents of children at those schools can bring a toy to the school office.

For more information, call the CHP at 273-4415.
