Cancer’s effect on families discussed

Prostate cancer as a social disease will be the focus at Thursday’s Information and Discussion Group sponsored by the Sierra Nevada Cancer Center.

“Families & Relationships: Prostate Cancer is a Social Disease” will be led by Dr. Jeff Kane, director of psycho-services for the Cancer Center. The meeting will be 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Outpatient Center conference rooms. Women and men with or without cancer are welcome to attend the free monthly meeting.
